Japanese for
Heritage Speakers
The class is ideal for students who wish to maintain their basic
conversational skills by regularly interacting with a native
Japanese instructor and other Japanese speaking classmates only in a
Japanese speaking environment. Elementary level reading and writing
skills will also be part of the curriculum. Some knowledge of
conversational Japanese or consent of the instructor is a
prerequisite.
Classes are tentatively planned to begin in October on Saturday
afternoons, 1:00 -3:00 pm. Those interested in this class should
